Time is running out! – with run ⊳⊳ IKAN HYU release the second single of their upcoming debut album. Being the oldest song on the album, it has gone through many stages: at first inspired by the sound of Zurich based band Kush K and a cat clock in Hannah’s living room, the lyrics were finalised during the Pandemic. According to the band, people had more time during Covid but were overwhelmed and often unable to actually enjoy it. The song describes how an environment of stress and the daily rush can make one feel as if on the wrong planet. run ⊳⊳ is a forward escape, driven by energetic guitars and punky drums the song sweeps up the listener in a race against time.
